Low-income communities in the Baltimore area have a reason to celebrate. RPS Solutions, a developer of affordable housing solutions, is partnering with the National Community Stabilization Trust, NCST, to enable more people to own homes.
Speaking during the announcement, Kevin Seawright was ecstatic about the future of the community. He said the partnership would accelerate the growth of the local economy, build reasonably priced properties and increase the number of residents owning homes.
He serves as the Managing Partner at RPS Solutions. NCST is involved in the rehabilitation of distressed properties to enable creative use of the space. The non-profit has a countrywide reach. The organization boasts of more than twenty-three thousand restored properties across the country.
The partnership gives local developers the first shot at acquiring properties before they go on the broader market. Kevin Seawright established RPS Solutions in 2015.
The goal is to elevate the rate of home-ownership and improve the lives of residents. The company has developments in numerous areas including Belvedere Square, Perring Loch, Parkville, and West Edmondale among others.
Kevin is a finance and project management executive based in Newark, New Jersey. He has held key executive positions in the state as well as the education sector and the real estate development industry in Maryland and Washington DC. He is a passionate community leader. He has worked as a volunteer mentor and coach for local sports teams including basketball at the Suffolk Virginia Recreation.
He is also associated with various societies that advocate for stronger support and empowerment of black leaders in the country including American Society for Public Administration, Black Public Administrators as well as National Association of Black Accountants.
Crunchbase reported that Kevin Seawright is passionate about the economic empowerment of local communities and education for the youth. Through RPS Solutions, he hopes to encourage a more diverse society that allows the residents to achieve their potential.
