That measure is taken in order to spend as much time as possible at the 40 locations of the food chain and be among the staff members and the clients of the food chain.The most recent location is in Los Angeles. There are no headquarters there, and the leaders work in the restaurants instead.
The first location of the Sweetgreen salad chain opened in 2007. The three collaborative founders had just graduated college. They opened the spot in Georgetown where they met and studied together.
CEO Nathaniel Ru and his colleagues graduated in 2007 from the Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Nathaniel Ru majored in Finance with a bachelor’s degree. In 2010, the three entrepreneurs launched another business called Sweetlife.
Today, Sweetlife is the largest music and food festival in the region, and it is a famous event that has people gathering from all around the United States of America. There are 20 000 attendees on average. Sweetlife has a similar message as Sweetgreen. It is to eat healthy and fresh products as well as to support the local farmer’s markets and support local product sourcing.
Nathaniel Ru and his colleagues have created a unique food chain that is unlike any other brand. They have established their vision and are still following through with it after ten years in the business.
Originally, the trio wanted to provide George town with a healthy alternative for fast food and encourage the community to make better choices. Over the years that drive has expanded across ten states. The locations are growing steadily, and so is the number of people who choose better food.
